With the autumn season upon us, KGD celebrated by visiting the National Geographic Museum of Exploration for our annual “end of summer” team gathering. The museum provides an overview of the history and legacy of the National Geographic Society, most known for the iconic National Geographic Magazine, and the stories of its many explorers.
By combining interactive digital exhibits for visitors and immersive photography galleries, we were encouraged to take in the natural world all around us. Both KGD and the National Geographic Society seek to "create inspirational experiences through dynamic storytelling and innovative design." For example, The Pavilion wooden stairs serve as a centerpiece, and are built from ash trees felled on a New England Farm to curb the spread of invasive emerald ash borer. With our own inner explorers unleashed, KGD team members are now more than ready to take on the chillier season ahead. Moreover, apply new and innovative solutions to the projects we design for all the communities we serve. See below for a link to our Instagram photo carousel with images from our event.
