A group from the KGD Team has once again participated in AIA Northern Virginia’s annual CANstruction event! Build Day was September 14, with our team recreating the "This is Fine" comic panel completely out of cardboard, cans, and dedication. You can see our canned sculpture of "This is Fine" and all the other amazing builds at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City until September 21.

However, before we take down our sculpture, make sure to vote for this year's People's Choice Award. In fact, we’re hoping you’ll vote for KGD's "This is Fine" CanArt© sculpture by following the QR code in the image below. Voting ends at 12:00 PM ET on Monday, September 21. Each $1 counts for a $1 vote; you can donate however much you'd like helping our team to raise even more money that what we collected to purchase all the needed cans for our build. Following the event, all donated food from each build goes to the Capital Area Food Bank for distribution to those in need.

CANstruction Northern Virginia is an annual program to provide hunger relief for residents in our local communities. AIA member architecture firms design and build structures made completely from canned goods with the intent that all food collected is donated to families facing food insecurity.
