KGD Architecture is an award-winning full-service design firm headquartered in Washington, DC, with additional offices in Arlington, Virginia; Boston, Massachusetts; and Bangkok, Thailand. Our work spans architecture, urban planning, and interior design, with a diverse portfolio that includes affordable housing, multifamily residential, institutional, corporate/commercial, and mixed-use clients.
We are a firm built on the belief that design should reflect the values and culture of the communities it serves. To that end, KGD Architecture has joined Aeterna Group, a new national firm comprised of five architecture and engineering firms united by a shared belief that great design enriches the communities it serves.
KGD Architecture continues to operate under its own name, with the same leadership, same team, and same deep commitment to our clients within the Mid-Atlantic Region and across the United States that have defined our firm since its founding 30 years ago. By joining this national collective, KGD Architecture has access to shared resources, broader expertise, and a national network of like-minded firms working toward the same goal.

Kishimoto.Gordon PC established as a Professional Corporation in McLean, Virginia.

Name change to Kishimoto.Gordon.Dalaya PC with the addition of Mr. Dalaya as Principal and equal shareholder.

Today, KGD Architecture has ten LEED APs on staff, representing the BD+C, ID+C, and O+M specializations and three Green Associates. Mechanical Engineer Shane Trexler, LEED AP O+M is our in-house sustainability engineer, advising the range of performance options available for a given project.
