The area is on the leeward side of a hill with views to the sea on the western side, surrounded by Portuguese style villas. Local sandstone will be sourced for the sculptural roof structure, and a local masonry tradition will be utilized in exterior marble grill work. This five-star hotel is surrounded by reflecting pools charged by the roof structure, and the fluid shaping of the rooms and modulated massing permit additional water views of the Arabian Sea. The building placement and orientation follow Vedic architecture principles, believed to create auspicious links between shelter and nature.
