Leah has succeeded as designer and project architect in preserving design integrity while juggling those real-world demands on a wide range of project types and scales. She understands the requirements of each project type and works closely with clients and consultants to carry projects through programming, design, documentation, FF+E, and construction contract administration. She has been a contributor to the Aerospace Corporation headquarters project and a number of workplace interiors.
She is currently applying her talents to a number of multi-family residential projects in Arlington, Virginia, including The Springs, Trove and Columbia Hills, which together total almost 1000 apartment units. In addition to her architectural contributions, Leah leads the firms Education Committee and is also a member of the Firm’s social committee.
Leah enjoys sharing her passion for architecture with the community through service and in the past has volunteered for a historical preservation alliance in her home state of Connecticut. She particularly enjoys engaging with children, working to inspire a new generation of designers through such programs as the AIA DC Architecture in the Schools program.
