Essential Duties + Responsibilities
- Leads the development of construction documents and detailing.
- Coordinates across disciplines with consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Supports design development with clarity, technical insight, and creativity.
- Contributes to project delivery across all phases, from schematic design through construction administration.
- Mentors junior team members and participate in internal reviews and critiques.
- Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support throughout the entire project.
- Liaises with project management, other architects, and consultants.
- Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects.
- Coordinates with the Project Director and Project Manager on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
- Project size differentiates this position from the senior level.
Qualifications
- Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
- Has 6–10 years of professional experience, including Revit-based construction document production.
- Demonstrates strong design sensibility with an interest in building performance and constructability.
- Demonstrates clear verbal and graphic communication skills.
- Technology: Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Licensure preferred or in active pursuit, LEED accreditation a plus.
