Welcome to KGD, Enrique Otero Neira!
A graduate of Master of Architecture from Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de A Coruña, Enrique comes to KGD from Spain, where he was born and raised. After twelve years as an Architect in Spain and Netherlands, he has relocated to DC with his wife, and has recently joined the firm as a Senior Project Designer. Enrique brings experience of leading the design from the conceptual stage through construction management on small and large-scale projects alike. His portfolio includes theatre, conference and health centers, as well as the restoration of several churches and historic buildings in Barcelona, such as the Convent and the Access located in the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau de Barcelona, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1997. Enrique has a strong passion for new technologies, and in the recent past has taught 3D printing courses for all ages.
Welcome to KGD, Valery Tessier!
Valery has joined KGD as a Project Manager. Previously, for the past 14 years she has worked at the residential design-build firm in the DC metro area. Valery had an opportunity to hone her strong organizational and time-management skills and become a professional problem solver early in her professional career, when she worked in the space industry for 6 years. Her previous tenures included SAIC at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX, CNES, and The French Space Agency in Washington, DC. A graduate of Bachelor of Architecture, Universite Laval, Quebec City, Canada and Master of Science, International Space University, Strasbourg, France, she is a member of AIA NOVA Chapter, holds a NCARB certificate, and is a licensed architect in DC, Virginia, Maryland and Maine.
