It’s that bittersweet time of summer once more when we have to bid a fond “fare thee well” to another class of amazing interns… at least two of them whose last day of interning was today. We are already missing them, and they literally just left our office in the past 30 minutes. Seff McClarin will soon return to the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta as he continues his academic work for a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Sophia Dascoli is returning to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for her fifth year in earning her Bachelor of Architecture. We know both of them will do well in the year ahead, and moreover, in launching their professional careers.
Ultimately, we find at KGD that the whole of our company and studio greatly benefit from the energy and creativity of each intern; not to forego their contributions to our clients’ projects either. Both Seff and Sophia came on board and were quick to become integral to what makes KGD a fun, exciting, and thought-provoking studio. Therefore, it was only fitting that we conducted a 210-second “Scaly” exit interview with each inclusive of scrapbook footage of their experiences, project tours, and more.
Move over Anderson Cooper… it’s time to hear directly from Seff and Sophia, especially some of their shoutouts of fellow KGD colleagues. Scroll below for a direct link to the Instagram reel of their interview.
