As we're closing in on the official mark of 30 years of KGD, we’re taking today’s post to introduce someone who is very important – Ben Kishimoto, the leading co-founder of KGD Architecture.

Ben served as President of the firm from its founding in 1995 until 2016. Then, he continued on as Chairman, staying committed to the leadership and growth of our firm. Ben offers more than four decades of design and management experience. His wealth of knowledge extends from master planning to architecture and the design of interiors for a variety of building types, including mixed-use developments, corporate headquarters, hotel, and retail, as well as academic buildings.

A graduate of Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Ben is a globe trotter, an epicure, a fan of the Beatles, and an aesthete. We appreciate Ben and have all learned so much from him over the years to present day. Thank you, Ben, for being one of our firm’s rock stars!
