The Leckey Forum & Regional Housing Awards is a highly respected annual event hosted by the Northern Virginia Affordable Housing Alliance in order to support affordable housing development across the North Virginia region. KGD Principal Henry Mahns, Associate Principal Alex Shifflett, and Senior Associate Leah Kleinman were in attendance this year to represent KGD's commitment to affordable multifamily housing. We at KGD believe that everyone deserves not just a place to live, but a comfortable, secure, and affordable place to thrive.

True Ground Housing Partners Director of Real Estate Development Mitch Chrispell took part in the presented conversation, "When ‘Affordable’ isn't Affordable: Understanding the AMI Disconnect." True Ground is a nonprofit affordable housing developer that has been a longtime client of KGD. Projects with True Ground have earned several affordable multifamily housing accolades. These projects include The Exchange at Spring Hill Station, Wholey Legacy Homes, Queens Court, and others.
