Job Title: Marketing Coordinator / Proposal Writer
Reports To: Director of Marketing

Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator supports all marketing and business development efforts. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Director of Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the marketing team, project managers and firm leadership to develop deadline-sensitive deliverables such as proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and award submissions.
• Conduct research, coordinate consultant materials, customize project profiles and team information, and develop customized graphic layouts.
• Maintain marketing materials including resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, etc.
• Provide writing and research for resumes and project data sheets.
• Prepare interview and speaking presentations
• Assist in maintaining marketing database, lead tracking, data entry, contacts list.
• Update website content
• Help develop social media communication calendar, and assist with social media communication.
• Prepare and design of brochures, advertising, newsletters, and other graphics projects.
• Research new business opportunities, including market research on industry trends.
• Track and coordinate resources for trade shows/conferences and company-sponsored events with attendance as requested.
• Provide support for the development of award submittals.
• Assist in development of e-marketing pieces, client communications, brochures, and other marketing materials as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, English or communications desired
• At least 2 years marketing experience, preferably within an A/E/C firm
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, Constant Contact.
• Organization – Identify and categorize information and resources into a logical and workable format.
• Teamwork – Serve as one of the marketing team members working with a team toward a common purpose. Work cooperatively with other team members, involving others and sharing information as appropriate.
• Interpersonal skills – A self-starter and problem solver who can interact effectively with others, being a good listener, empathetic, respectful, hardworking, and projecting positive attitude. Have good language skills and the ability to express thoughts and opinions to others in a way that will make them receptive to your message. Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with the firm’s staff, external contacts, clients, vendors, contractors, etc.
• Accountability – Operate under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines and overall project schedules. Able to multitask and juggle multiple deadlines at times without dropping the ball
• Oral and written communication – Communicate effectively with a variety of individuals and function calmly in situations that require a high degree of sensitivity, diplomacy, and tact. Deliver engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations and materials.

Job Title: Project Designer

Position Overview:
While under the supervision of a licensed architect will generate building design concepts and coordinate architectural design projects from the initial design development stage throughout the entire project duration using design software including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite. Assist in development of planning and creative design concepts for residential and mixed-use projects and convey design ideas to the design team and consultants. After the initial design stage, create more complex ideas about the design through realistic 3D and 2D drawings of the buildings modeled. Assist in developing presentation package by preparing 3D building renderings and any types of diagrams and communicate with team members on building elevations and sections to explain design drawing in detail. Generate forms to support a variety of diagrammatic drawings which will be used in schematic design, design development drawings. Communicate, document and coordinate architectural design and construction process with team members. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in master planning and architecture concept design using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketchup.

Job Title: Project Manager - Interiors

Department: Interior Design

Position Overview:
KGD Architecture is currently seeking an experienced and talented Interior Designer with extensive project management experience to join our team. Position will include design and management of complex commercial interiors projects. Candidates should be able to show demonstrable leadership ability within a collaborative team environment, as well as a commitment to a high quality of design and personalized client service.
Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of progressively responsible commercial interiors design experience, including experience with both large scale developer and corporate build-to-suit projects.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture required.
  • NCIDQ or Architectural Registration preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, visual, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability in problem identification, problem solving, and conflict resolution
  • Experience in preparing construction document and specifications, contract administration, and field observation.
  • Extensive knowledge of building codes, zoning , and construction techniques
  • Proficiency in Autocad, Revit, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite

Special Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. Must have three (3) months of experience in the job offered or as an Intern.
Must have three (3) months of experience in all of the following:
1) Preparation and presentation of Concept Design, Yield Studies, Design Development drawings and preliminary project descriptions;
2) Zoning and Building Code Analysis, Schedules and Tables; and

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. Must have three (3) months of experience in the job offered or as an Intern.
Must have three (3) months of experience in all of the following:
1) Rhino 3-dimentional Modelling software;
2) Revit 3-dimentional Modeling software; and
3) Enscape and Adobe Illustrator.
