2000 TOWER OAKS BOULEVARD

The award-winning 2000 Tower Oaks Boulevard building was designed to set a new standard for a healthful and environmentally conscientious commercial design. Built on the foundation of responsibility to the body, mind and the environment, it adheres to the strictest principles of green architecture in order to promote harmony and corporate success. The building is world’s largest commercial application of ancient Vedic architecture which is said to follow, “the eternal laws of nature” by its proponents. The orientation of the building is perfectly alighted from all directions with an east facing lobby that is light-filled per Vedic principles. The nine-story building is designed as one component of a mixed-use suite that includes a 200-room corporate conference hotel with 100 ownership residences and a 75,000 SF fitness center.

The health-promoting and performance enhancing design principles creates not just a space to work in, but a space that works for its tenants’. Fortune design adheres to specific principles of orientation, placement, central core and proportion which work together to improve occupant health, and enhance job performance and success.

It’s the world’s largest office building utilizing Fortune-Creating® Building Architecture principals of orientation, placement, and proportion to improve productivity, employee health, and the bottom line, making it the healthiest building in Washington. Due to its extraordinary design features, the building has been the subject of the Harvard Case Study, “Design Creates Fortune: 2000 Tower Oaks Boulevard.” It was the first LEED® Platinum commercial office building in the Washington Region.
