Stephen has been active in the architectural profession for over 18 years at several internationally recognized design firms; his experience has kept him on the forefront of many corporate, commercial, mixed-use, higher education, K-12, programming, and master-planning projects. During this time, he has collaborated with and led successful design teams for numerous award-winning projects. Stephen’s leadership emphasizes positive collaboration, creativity, and innovation in design, as well as developing strong client relationships as part of the overall project delivery process.

As Director of the Education practice and Boston studio, he emphasizes creating collaborative partnerships within the community and client team, solving complex site, budget, schedule, approvals, and building challenges. With a focus on creating high-performing, flexible facilities capable of adapting to the evolving educational landscape, he works across disciplines to design projects that enhance each school’s educational mission.
