KGD Architecture provided Masterplanning for this phased, mixed-used development at Shady Grove in Rockville, MD.
The 30-acre site contained existing 40-year-old office buildings that the City proposed to rezone under a new mixed-use zone. Under this zoning, KGD provided a creative phased plan that balanced maximized FAR with the requirements contained in the rezoning and uses re-envisioned by the client.
