Thank you to our clients, colleagues, project partners, and most importantly, our communities, for making 2021 extremely memorable. Here are some “Best Bits” We’re proud to look back on. We had the honor of working on some outstanding projects in 2021, with these being especially rewarding to our clients and design team members:

Novavax Headquarters

Gaithersburg, MD

The campus will support innovation, attract top scientific talent, and create opportunities for the merging of science, nature, and social interaction for workers and visitors in an engaging, open, and sustainable environment.

Queens Court

Arlington, VA

Queens Court is a 249 unit 100% dedicated affordable housing project located in the heart of Rosslyn. This project is 12 stories and will have a condominium ownership utilizing 4% and 9% LIHTC funds, leveraging both state and federal funding to provide maximum benefit to the community.

IDA Potomac Yards Headquarters

Alexandria, VA

The completion of the new 370,000 SF Potomac Yard headquarters marks the conclusion of over a decade-long development process and a two-year construction, ahead of schedule and under budget.

Monika Sibert Joins the Team

KGD Architecture and Monika Sibert of former P3 Design Collective are joining forces to establish KGD’s new studio of Lifestyle Interiors, focusing on hospitality and multi-family interiors.

Design Awards
