KGD’s Interiors team was charged with designing offices for The Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), a non-profit research institute located at 1275 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, DC.

Cognizant of the sensitivity of CEPA’s work, which engages high-profile experts and politicians, KGD designers created a modern space suitable for both private meetings and large gatherings by incorporating two functionally different but complimentary spaces to serve front and back of house purposes.

Despite the constraint of a low ceiling (9’), the new CEPA office is open and airy. Wood and stone introduce natural and traditional warmth to the space without weighing down the brightness achieved through a light and crisp color palette, including a light blue accent color that elevates the space with an effortless elegance.
