1000 F STREET TENANT SUITE – 5th FLOOR

When designing this space for an international quick-service restaurant company (QSR), the client’s corporate culture and message had to be reflected in the functionality + personality of the space. The client requested an upscale but playful and inviting environment with punchy furniture + fixtures. They also wanted their new space to be open and support in-office presentations and entertaining. To help our client accomplish their goals, the design team created a space that blended upscale sophistication with quirky + playful touches that echoed the client’s branding. All cabinetry was made out of a high-gloss laminate juxtaposed with a unique, low-cost, multi-tone wood slat paneling made entirely of wood reclaimed from old furniture. As an alternative to a completely neutral palate, our team brought in bright colors sparingly but with maximum impact. Black paint provides a dark accent throughout the space and is an effective backdrop to the client’s colorful art work and vintage pieces. The space is sophisticated while maintaining a playful, quirky atmosphere throughout. Fun accents and furniture create a playful atmosphere that is also functional for employees and flexible and welcoming for events and meetings.
